வானவியல் வாரத்தை முன்னிட்டு நடாத்தப்பட்ட Online  வினாடி வினாப்  போட்டி பெப்ரவரி மாதம் 18ம் திகதி பாடசாலை ஸ்மார்ட் வகுப்பறைகளில் நடைபெற்றது. இதில் பத்து குழுக்கள் பங்குபற்றி இருந்தன. அண்ணளவாக 100 மாணவர்கள் இதில் பங்கேற்று இருந்தனர். போட்டி 5 சுற்றுகளாக நடைபெற்றது. 5 சுற்றுகளிலும் பெற்ற புள்ளிகளின் அடிப்படையில் முதல் மூன்று இடத்தை பிடித்த அணிகள்  இறுதிப் போட்டிக்கு தகுதியினைப் பெற்றனர். அதனடிப்படையில் Helix , Orion  மற்றும் Saturn அணிகள் இறுதிப்  போட்டிக்கு தெரிவாகின. இறுதிப் போட்டி  வானவியல் வாரத்தின் இறுதிநாள் இரவில் நடைபெற்றது.

Promote STEAM Education education through Astronomy and Space Science

Science Club of Sulaimaniya College successfully organized "Astro Week 2020" to promote STEAM education among students. There were many events for students to develop their skills. The final day of the program held on 21^st February night. Many students actively participated in the event.

Sulaimaniya College has been awarded as a Top Smart School among 150 schools in the Island. Thanks to everyone who has put the efforts to achieve this milestone.

Inter House Sports Meet 2020 has successfuly concluded on 21st of January 2020. A big thanks to everyone who gave the support to organise the event. 

Ameer Mohamed Rajah, teacher of Sulaimaniya College has been selected as one of the representative from Sri Lanka to attend Microsoft Education Exchange Conference #E2 in Sydney, Australia, March 23rd to 26th 2020.

The event will bring hundreds of global educators, leaders and media to Sydney, providing a great platform to elevate Microsoft Education and place a spotlight on the educators making amazing things possible in classrooms around the world. 

E2 is the event for Microsoft Innovative Educators and leaders, bringing together over 500 representatives from over 70 countries for an immersive and hands on experience in partnership with Microsoft. Microsoft recognize the great achievements of educators in the industry and support the global sharing of innovations among leaders and ministers as they tackle challenges around system transformation, workforce development and economic prosperity fueled by education.

The grade 6 new admission ceremony was held on 9th January 2020 at school auditorium. The new students were warmly welcomed by their immediate seniors and school staffs. After that there was an orientation organized for students to introduce school system, culture, facilities and resources. The parents, SDC and OBA members also were present for the event.

We are so excited to announce that Sulaimaniya College has been selected to compete in the final round of Nenasa Smart School Competition 2019. Mr. Ameer Mohamed Rajah also has qualified for the final in the Smart Ambassador Category.

The semi final was held on 19th December 2019  at Grand Ralidiya Hotel in Galigamuwa for Kegalle district schools. The final will be held on February, 2020 at Dialog Auditorium in Colombo 7.

Smart Sulaimaniya Team has to thank everyone for coming out and supporting us to achieve this goal.

பாடசாலையின் நூற்றாண்டு பூரத்தியை முன்னிட்டு 2013 சாதாரண தர பழைய மாணவர்களினால் ஏற்பாடு செய்யபட்டிருக்கின்ற புத்தக கண்காட்சி மிகச் சிறப்பாக நடைபெற்று வருகின்றது. புத்தக கண்காட்சி நாளை இரவு 8 மணி வரை திறந்திருக்கும். அனைவரும் பங்குகொண்டு பயன்களை பெற அழைப்பு விடுக்கின்றோம்.

விஞ்ஞான கழகமும் ICT கழகமும் இணைந்து, பாடசாலை பழைய மாணவர் சங்கத்தின் அனுசரணையில் ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்ட SciQuiz  ஆன்லைன் வினாடி  வினாப் போட்டி மிகச்சிறப்பாக நடை பெற்று முடிந்தது. இதில் வெற்றி பெற்ற மாணவர்களுக்கான பரிசளிப்பு வைபவம் நவெம்பர் மாதம் 11 ம் திகதி பாடசாலை முன்றலில் நடைபெற்றது. இதில் தெகியோவிட்ட கல்வி வலய உதவிக் கல்விப் பணிப்பாளர் M.I.B.N இனாயா அவர்கள் பிரதம அதிதியாக கலந்து கொண்டு வெற்றிபெற்ற மாணவர்களுக்கான கேடயங்களையும்  சான்றிதழ்களையயும் வழங்கி நிகழ்வினை சிறப்பித்தார். இங்கு உரையாற்றிய உதவிக் கல்விப் பணிப்பாளர் அவர்கள், இவ்வாறான நவீன தொழில் நுட்பத்தை பயன்படுத்தி நடக்கும் போட்டிகளின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை விளக்கினார் மேலும் இப்படியான சிறந்த போட்டி நிகழ்ச்சியொன்றை ஒழுங்குசெய்த ஏற்பாட்டார்களுக்கு பாராட்டுக்களையும் தெரிவித்துக் கொண்டார் .

Sulaimaniya College has won 5 places in the National Meelad Competition 2019 organised by Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs. Congratulations to all contestant who represent Sulaimaniya College.

The final round of "SciQuiz" online science quiz competition was ended on 17th October 2019. The competition was organised by the science club and ICT club of Sulaimaniya college in collaboration with old boys association. The competition was conducted in two phases for four categories in Tamil and English mediums. There were 205 students in the first phase. 40 students were shortlisted for the second round. 10 competitors were selected from each category. The second round of the event was inaugurated by the school principal Mr. M.C Ibrahim and the deputy principal Mr. Shafi Hassan.

The first phase of "SciQuiz", the science online quiz competition ended successfully on 11th October 2019. Students eagerly participated in the first round. The competition organised by Science and IT club of Sulaimaniya college in collaboration with OBA

Provincial level meelad competition was held on 6th Oct 2019 at Sulaimaniya College, Kannattota. Event was nicely organized by the school. Sulaimaniya college won the third place in the province.
